Meet Our Founder

As the founder of STEAM Fashion Design, Pia Robertson brings a wealth of experience and a deep-seated passion for both education and fashion. Her unique journey, blending a Bachelor of Science in Education from Tuskegee University with over a decade of classroom experience and a Master of Arts in Fashion Design and Merchandising from Wayne State University, showcases her unwavering commitment to learning and teaching.

Pia's heart lies at the intersection of education and fashion, where her love for teaching meets her fervor for all things stylish. She firmly believes in investing in the potential of young minds and giving back to the community. To fulfill this vision, she established STEAM Fashion Design, a platform designed to inspire and mentor youth in the world of fashion design.

Her dream is simple yet profound: to encourage young individuals to explore their creativity, unearth hidden talents, and discover their unique interests. She envisions a world where the youth can tap into their limitless creative potential.

Pia's guiding principle is that knowledge is power. Reflecting on her own childhood aspirations of becoming a designer, she understands the value of early exposure and resources.
